Unfortunately Suburban Appeal is not offering residential property tax appeals and reviews for the 2025 property tax season.  We believe that this being the third year of the quadrennial that property assessments have reached a level where they are generally appropriate based on the past two years of appeal seasons and the recent real estate climate.  Residential real estate values continue to climb and assessments have trended to be slightly lower than the current fair market values making appealing a difficult task.  It is my belief that appealing just to see what sticks actually hurts the client and may result in an increase in assessment at suburban boards of review. 

Based on this we believe that offering our review process for this year will not add value to our residential clients and offering our service when we do not believe we can achieve results is not what we believe in doing.  We are accepting commercial appeals for 2025.

We understand that some residential clients may truly believe that their assessment needs to be reviewed and we are open to discuss the assessment with these clients.  If you think a review is necessary you can call our office directly 847-865-5876 as we have set aside a limited amount of time for these circumstances.
